Amazing. I wish they had video for the entire second set of this show!
These roads don’t move…
Lyrics taken from Jack Kerouac’s Big Sur. The album is called One Fast Move or I’m Gone: Kerouac’s Big Sur, I highly recommend it.
YMSB tonight…
Go if you have not seen them (Yonder Mountain String Band) before! It’s tonight!
Random thoughts…
1. I can’t read when there’s any noise. For example, when the guys I’m with at work put on a movie, say, “Sandlot”, I tell myself, “ah, I’ve seen this movie before”, or with the radio, “I’ve heard this song before”–no, it’s impossible!–I can’t read with distractions of any sort!
2. Energy drinks don’t give me energy. I don’t drink a can of “rock star” and climb a mountain or run a mile. I don’t feel like hitting the gym after a “monster”. No, if anything, these beverages are simply “Bottled Addiction”.
3. The wise ground learning in a simple presupposition: quality supercedes quantity.
4. Europe runs through my blood–the time is nearing to go home.
Spring Break…
Uneventful, quiet Spring Break this year. Read and worked. Gearing up for the final push till summer! Summer school, then I’m graduated (unless I decide to teach high school before grad school)… Things are, for the most part, wrapping up!
Hope you all have a good day!
